The West Cork Maritime Series Sherry Cask Irish Single Malt is a triple-distilled whiskey crafted as a tribute to the distillery’s founders and their heritage as West Cork trawlermen. Packaged in a distinctive, custom-blown spherical bottle with an off-centre spout designed to look like vintage glass fishing floats, this expression is initially matured in first-fill bourbon casks before being finished in Bodegas Baron ex-sherry casks.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Prominent aromas of dried prunes, fig, classic sherry notes, and sweet vanilla.Palate: Highly accessible and sweet at the initial sip, layer with baking spices, chocolate, and deep dark fruits.Finish: Cleanses the palate by transitioning from its upfront sweetness to a dry, warming, and slightly spicy finish.
