The very pinnacle of Irish whiskey, Bushmills Single Malt Whiskey 21 year old is aged for a minimum of 19 years in former Oloroso Sherry and bourbon-seasoned casks, then married and transferred into Madeira casks for a further 2 years of aging and maturation. Awarded ‘Best Irish Single Malt 2013’ and a rare 96 points from Whisky Advocate.

TASTING NOTE

Colour: old gold with copper glow.

Nose: very aromatic, with lovely hues of dark chocolate and salted butter caramel, pleasantly wrapped in honey, spices and red fruits.

Palate: distinguished and subtle, very appealing with toffee, peppermint and dried fruits (raisins and almonds) flavours over a vanilla and chocolatey backdrop.

Finish: bittersweet and delicately oaky, it is a subtle combination of sparkling mint and candied oranges, evolving on strawberry, coffee and intense liquorice.
