New Zealand liquor licensing laws demand that to order this gift box, both you and the recipient must be aged 18 years or over.

It is illegal for us to sell alcohol to you if you are under the age of 18.

It is illegal for you to buy alcohol from us if you are under the age of 18 and it is illegal if you falsify your details in order to buy alcohol if you are under the age of 18.

New Zealand law states that liquor will not be sold to people under the age of 18 years.

This is mandatory and breaking the law carries a heavy fine.
We will ask you to confirm this again during checkout.
By completing an order on our website you are automatically stating that you are over 18.

If you or the recipients are under 18 years of age, we cannot provide you with any gift arrangements containing alcoholic beverage.

We reserve the right to ask for identification.

Just incase we need to make a change to a package

Products shown in our gift packages will be as advertised online, if for any reason this is not possible (i.e. an out of stock item) we will substitute with an appropriate one that suits the arrangement. We will replace any product with another as close to the advertised item as possible or one of similar or greater value.

We reserve the right to use a variety of flavours of any one product. It will always be in keeping with the design and theme if the gift.

If we consider it necessary we will make every endeavour to contact you to offer an alternative.

Should there be occasion for complaint regarding your order, then we must be contacted within 7 days of receipt of the goods.

Please take care when ordering as refunds do not apply for wrongly ordered items.

Please note that we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes so please, only supply physical addresses for delivery.

Goods are dispatched to New Zealand addresses only.

Deliveries are sent via Now couriers. Please allow 3 to 7 working days for delivery of goods especially to areas outside Auckland.

If a product you order becomes out of stock but at least one of the products in your order is available, we will ask you whether you’d like to still complete your order. If you do and your order total is below the $200 free delivery threshold, you will have to pay the delivery fee if it was not already paid for in this order.

Returns Policy

At Whitford Merchants we are committed to providing quality products to our customers.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your gift it may be exchanged for another gift to the same value. Higher value gifts may be selected with additional payment of the difference by the purchaser.

Simply return the unwanted gift to our store at 7 Whitford Wharf Rd, Whitford Village within one week of purchase.

Returned goods must be unused and in resalable condition and be accompanied with an explanation for your return.

Damages

If your Parcel arrives damaged this must be reported within 24 hrs. All original packaging must also be kept. This is just so we can make a claim on your behalf with the courier and arrange a replacement.

Ordering times

All orders must be made before 9am to meet the same day dispatch requirements.

Every effort will be made to dispatch orders on the day of order but please note that any orders received after this time may be dispatched the following day.

All prices quoted and paid for include GST (Goods and Services Tax) at 15%.

All sales and purchases are governed by New Zealand Laws.

We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, and cannot take responsibility for incorrect addresses which have been supplied, or non-delivery due to addresses without safe access.

Damages

Cancellation of an order

If there is a need to cancel an order once you have received a confirmation email from us, please contact us as soon as possible on 09 530 8888 or email

If the goods have not been dispatched, we will cancel your order immediately.

After giving notice of cancellation of an order and goods have already left our premises, provided they are returned to us within 7 days AND are in the same condition as when they left our premises, we will provide a full refund (excluding the original shipping cost and the return shipping cost).

Please note:- Packages must absolutely not have been opened or tampered with.
