Originally Prenzel of Whitford, our little cottage has been a treasure trove of delicacies since it opened in 2004. Today, whilst the original Prenzel owners are no longer involved, we remain committed to their passion for high quality, gourmet fare. We continue to stock favourite Prenzel items, but we also love discovering new artisan producers from across the country. Our carefully selected range includes local oils, oils, honey, cheese, chocolates, preserves, relishes and chutneys.

We’re very proud of our extensive range of boutique wines, whiskies, gins and craft beers from top producers across New Zealand and the rest of the world.
We’re well known in the area as being the go-to place when you need to pick up something special, and we’re always delighted by the challenge to track something down if you have a particular request.
Our shop is small but we have so much to share, so please do pop in… browsing is encouraged!

We offer free tastings instore, and often invite our producers to share their knowledge and expertise.
