Midway through 2016 Doug and Anthony Lawry of Christchurch based Workshops Whisky, released their very first bottling to much success. They pride themselves on using as much locally sourced materials as possible, including all the barley which is grown in Canterbury and malted at Gladfield. This is the second cask selected by the team, matured in a virgin oak barrel and yielded only 500 bottles.
