This was a travel retail release in 2016 from the Speyside distillery, Balvenie. The Maderia cask finish was matured for 20 years in traditional oak casks before being transferred into casks that matured fortified Maderia wine.

This 21-year-old Balvenie single malt has been finished in casks that previously held the Portuguese fortified wine, Madeira. Fruity, floral aromas of orange blossom, fresh pineapple, and spicy ginger fill the nose, alongside creamy vanilla. The palate offers notes of tropical fruit, orange juice, barley sugar, and runny honey with cinnamon and oaky vanilla in the finish.
