Chardonnay

Variety: 100% Chardonnay

Vineyard Site: Te Muna Terraces, Martinborough NZ

Winemaking: The grapes for this Chardonnay (Clone 95) were hand-harvested at 22 Brix and then whole bunch pressed. Then fermentation with wild yeast in French oak barrels (16% new oak). 50% malolactic fermentation. This is a lean, elegant Chardonnay not dominated by new oak.
