It seems that this Gimblett Gravels vineyard and this northern Rhone variety are a serendipitous match exemplified by pungently floral and vividly flavoured wines.

Unsurprisingly, Syrah is now a significant part of Craggy range full bodied red wine offering and this approach is modelled after their approach to Pinot Noir: gentle, traditional, and with respect for capturing elegance of fruit.

Premium producers Craggy Range on their home turf. An expressively aromatic nose of boysenberry, lavender, sandalwood and pepper. The palate has a lovely round feel of ripe, fleshy fruit and an elegant line of fine mineral-tinged tannins, finishing dry.
