Craigellachie 17 Years is a single malt whiskey available only from 2014. However, the distillery has a much longer tradition, having always destined its whiskeys for the production of Dewar’s blended whiskey. Today as many as 5 Craigellachie single malt whiskeys are available and belong to the “The Last Great Malts on Scotland” series, the result of a balance between a traditional approach and a more modern vision.

The palate is sweet and full-bodied, with pleasant hints of cane sugar and light smoke that end in a finish of medium persistence on oak notes.

Smooth and mellow, the aroma opens with vanilla and rich, silky notes of exotic fruits, dried pineapples, and a hint of smoky liquorice.
