Located at the foot of the Andes Mountains in Venezuela, Distilerias Unidas S.A. is the home of Ron Diplomatico. Using locally-grown sugarcane, Diplomatico is made using three unique types of still – Barbett column, Batch Kettle, and copper pot stills – creating rich, complex layers of fruit and spice on the palate.

Matured for 12 years in a combination of American white oak, ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks Diplomatico Seleccion de Familia is a complex rum with a dry, bittersweet edge alongside notes of caramelised bananas, white pepper, ginger, raisins and figs.
