This limited release from Fortaleza was aged for at least 14 months in a combination of three different cask types to create a complex and unique expression. After six months in American oak refill barrels, the spirit is transferred into Hungarian ex-Tokaji wine casks that provide notes of jalapeno peppers and orange blossom.

The French oak ex-oloroso butts bring notes of cherries, almonds and chocolate to the mix.

The result is a reposado Tequila with well-balanced flavours of fruity cherries and peaches with a creamy finish of butter and spices – still making space for the individuality provided by each cask type.
