Hendrick’s Master Distiller, Leslie Gracie was inspired by the moon and her botanical garden at night when she designed the recipe for Hendrick’s Lunar.

She describes that “there is the rich aroma of night-scented flowers.” Some flowers tend to become more fragrant as the day passes to night, and alongside this, she chose botanicals that flourish under moonlight. The intention behind the Gin was to make it the perfect Gin to savor casually at home or during starry nights with friends.

Lunar provides gentle spice and floral notes, with a soft citrus finish. Despite floral notes shining in the Gin, it is far from one-note – the spice is surprisingly present throughout and lends balance, with the juniper coming through on both the nose and palate.

Aromas: A floral lead with honeysuckle and violet complimented with violet, juniper, and coriander

Palate: predominantly floral then settles into a spice-led balance of juniper, peppercorns, and roses
