This is the second entry in Johnnie Walker’s Ghost and Rare series, focusing on the character and spirit of the distillery from the closed Port Ellen on Islay.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Port Ellen is a whisky, the second release from the range, featuring whiskey from one of the most legendary closed stills, Port Ellen. Alongside the revered Islay whiskey in the mix are whiskeys from two stills (Carsebridge and Caledonian), as well as malts from Mortlach, Oban, Blair Athol, Cragganmore, and Dailuaine.

Character:  Aromas of salted butter, jam, peat, and oatcake. Aromatic malt and orange blossom flavor, balanced by salty sea air and coal dust. The delicate clove brings the heat. The lingering peat smoke lingers for a long time during the aftertaste.
