The Kavalan Solist Port Cask has, as the name suggests, spent its life maturing in Port ‘pipes’ from the Douro Valley in Portugal. This maturation has left the whisky with a round, rich fruity character and even a touch of dark chocolate. Bottled at full cask strength, this edition has a assertive character.
