Selected from among the Glengyle distillery’s oldest casks, this 16-year-old release is available in limited supply. A note of malt biscuits and freshly malted barley leads the nose, with threads of gentle peat smoke throughout citrus and tropical fruit.

A drying, peppery mouthfeel carries the slightly briny and woody palate, building to beeswax, sweet macerated fruit salad, and a very lingering and soft peat smoke characteristic.

This is a very old-world style of whisky, it has a certain special something that is distinctive to Glengyle and Springbank.
