Longrow Peated is produced by Springbank Distillery, located in the picturesque Campbeltown region of Scotland, once referred to as the “whisky capital of the world.” Springbank has a deep-rooted history that dates back to 1828, and Longrow was introduced in 1973 to add a peaty character to the distillery’s repertoire.

Today, Springbank remains one of the few distilleries in Scotland that is fully self-contained, meaning that every aspect of whisky production—from malting the barley to bottling—is carried out on-site by a dedicated team of experts.

The nose opens with creamy vanilla custard and sweet toasted marshmallows, gradually giving way to the characteristic peat smoke. This smoke develops slowly, allowing other aromas to emerge, including herbal notes and a faint touch of oak.

On the palate, Longrow Peated is incredibly well-balanced. The whisky offers a rich, creamy mouthfeel with a slight medicinal edge, while the peat smoke builds in intensity, washing over the taste buds in waves. A touch of oak sweetness complements the layers of flavor, adding depth and complexity.

The finish is long and smooth, with the gentle peat smoke lingering on the palate. The whisky’s soft, balanced character and the integrated oak flavours ensure a satisfying end that leaves you craving more.
