The Nikka Coffey Malt is the result of a unique process. It is made from malted barley which is distilled in a column still called Coffey Still.
These stills are traditionally used for grain whiskey.
Tasting
Color: gold.
Nose: notes of lemon, pear, vanilla.
Palate: Rich with notes of ripe fruit, raisins, corn.
Overall: fresh with hints of plum.
