This bottling of Oban is part of the Distillers Edition of the Classic Malts of Scotland. The Single Malt was finished for at least three months in Fino-Montilla casks. The four seals on every bottle show detailed information about the bottling.

The first seal shows the symbol of the distillery, a lion, which embodies the Scottish monarchy. The second seal states the founding year of the distillery, 1794.

The third seal is standing for the used cask type (Fino-Montilla) and the last one includes the initials of the responsible master distiller.
