This is a wonderful wine to use because of its musky,raisin-like, burnt-caramel character and suits rich, warming desserts.

Medium dry style which is fine and delicate. This wine has similar characteristics to
sherry with hints of vanilla and caramel.

Used extensively in Italian cooking but it also makes a fine aperitif.
