Created at the Pokeno distillery in the North Island of New Zealand, this first release of their ‘exploration’ series sees the first-ever use of native Totara casks for a final maturation period.

Matt Johns, the founder of Pokeno, describes the whisky as having a creamy coconut note, with sweet-scented sap, ripe white peach, and freshly cut wood.

On the nose, there are notes of creamy coconut, sweet-scented sap, ripe white peach, and freshly cut wood. In the mouth, we discover bitter lemon, stone fruit, and hints of dark chocolate for a long and sweet finish.
