This whisky embodies the classic Springbank distillery style. It starts rich and creamy with vanilla, ripe summer fruits, and marzipan before a hint of salt and smoke creeps through. Springbank’s famous oily coconutty taste develops with time and is joined by a note of dark chocolate and a trace of briny peat smoke and pepper.

Tasting Note

Nose: Toasted bananas, honey and bakewell tarts with coastal hints. Quite oily.

Palate: Big, spicy and gutsy, with notes of chilli, pine, citrus, aniseed and rich fruits.

Finish: Long, salty, chocolate caramels with hints of smoky fruit.
