Deliverance Chardonnay has quite a following as it delivers all those big, bold and ripe flavours many chardonnay lovers are always looking for. You could say it is North Canterbury’s answer to that ever popular Californian style but being local surely gives it the upper hand.

“North Canterbury grows some of New Zealand’s most flavoursome wine-grapes. Grown on ancient river bed gravels in the Waipara Valley, this Chardonnay is rich in stone-fruits, with subtle citrus and mellow oak influence. Picked in the cool fresh days of Autumn, the young juice was fermented in large seasoned oak barrels, where the wine aged for 12 months before blending.”
